Artist Website w/ Audio Snippets

The Problem

My friend released a record, and as part of that process, the artist is often asked to provide digital snippets of their songs so online record stores and outlets can link to them for shoppers to hear.

The artist had the following:

• An owned domain
• A clear theme for the release
• MP3s of the audio snippets

The Approach

With little experience in web page design, and even less in web page hosting.

I utilized Claude to help me with the following:

• Walk through the creation of the web pages
• Creation of a web page file structure
• Where the file needed to be hosted on the web
• Pointing the owned domain towards the hosted files
• Create a step by step guide to navigating all of the above

The Outcome

This would have been a several person, several weeks (or months) long project that the artist would have needed a lot of contacts and capital to complete. Instead, with the assistance of Claude, the artist now has a basic and visually appealing landing page, as well as a functional audio hosting page that solved the problem of online outlets repeatedly requesting audio snippets from the artist.
